JL;DR SUMMARY Rabbi Mortimer Cohen of a Conservative synagogue in Philadelphia approached architect Frank Lloyd Wright in 1953 to design a synagogue that resembled a mountain, seeking to embody an American Jewish identity in the building. A way out west there was a fella, fella I want to tell you about, fella by the name of Jeff Lebowski.
