During the Three Weeks, a period of mourning in the Jewish calendar when instrumental music is traditionally avoided, this piece provides a unique way of reflecting on the passages. Its lyrics are informed by classical Jewish texts and bring to life the historical narrative of the Israelites' wanderings, exploring concepts of journey and progress. This project highlights an innovative approach to Torah study through music, incorporating traditional text with contemporary musical adaptations.
