The Iranian weightlifting federation has banned athlete Mostafa Rajaei for life and dismissed the head of their delegation after Rajaei shook hands and took a photo with Israeli weightlifter Maksim Svirsky at the 2023 World Master Weightlifting Championships in Poland.
