JL;DR SUMMARY Democratic lawmakers in the United States are drawing stark parallels between U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and the Gestapo as they propose legislation to restrict ICE's activities and limit cooperation between local police and federal immigration authorities.
