JL;DR SUMMARY Vice President Kamala Harris has backed New York City politician Zohran Mamdani, making her the most prominent Democrat to do so, despite Mamdani's lack of public endorsement for her during the 2024 election due to his protest of the Biden administration's support for Israel.
