JL;DR SUMMARY Amid rising antisemitic and Islamophobic protests, New York Governor Kathy Hochul has proposed legislation to establish a 25-foot buffer zone around houses of worship, including synagogues, to curb demonstrations that have increasingly targeted these religious sites.
