JL;DR SUMMARY In an unprecedented move, Magen David Yeshivah in Brooklyn, a major institution within the Syrian Jewish community, now requires parents to show proof of voter registration. A way out west there was a fella, fella I want to tell you about, fella by the name of Jeff Lebowski.
