JL;DR SUMMARY Recent declarations by leading Charedi rabbis, including Rav Moshe Maya and Rav Yitzchak Yosef, signal a significant policy shift regarding enlistment in the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) for Charedim not engaged in yeshiva or Kollel studies.
