JL;DR SUMMARY Poland's Law and Justice Party (PiS) passed a bill criminalizing accusations of Polish complicity in Nazi crimes and historical distortions, aiming to whitewash the past and promote a nationalist agenda. A way out west there was a fella, fella I want to tell you about, fella by the name of Jeff Lebowski.
