Palestinian novelist imprisoned for terrorism is shortlisted for prestigious literary award

JL;DR SUMMARY Palestinian novelist Basim Khandaji, who is currently serving a life sentence in an Israeli prison for his involvement in a terrorist attack, has been shortlisted for the International Prize for Arabic Fiction for his novel "A Mask, the Colour of the Sky."
