JL;DR SUMMARY The Forward, a major player in Jewish journalism since its Yiddish-language inception in 1897, has expanded its online presence with the acquisition of the domains Yiddish.com and Yiddish.org, donated by philanthropists Elie and Sarah Hirschfeld.
