JL;DR SUMMARY Between 1918 and 1921, during the Russian and Bolshevik invasion of independent Ukraine, over 1,000 anti-Jewish riots and attacks, known as pogroms, occurred, resulting in the death of over 100,000 Jews and the displacement of hundreds of thousands more.
