JL;DR SUMMARY Gavin Newsom, the Governor of California, has adopted a strategy that mirrors Donald Trump's use of social media, memes, and mockery to gain attention and support among Democrats, positioning himself as a leading opponent of Trump. A way out west there was a fella, fella I want to tell you about, fella by the name of Jeff Lebowski.
