After six years of service, Katherine Brice, the headteacher of Hasmonean High School for Girls, is set to retire in January.

Hasmonean High School for Boys received a good rating in all areas by Ofsted in its first inspection as a single-sex school, after splitting from its previous co-ed establishment to comply with equality rules.

Hasmonean High School for Boys has opened an overflow site in Belsize Park to accommodate 136 year-7 boys due to increased demand, exceeding its official capacity of 75 students.
