JL;DR SUMMARY Eric Zemmour's failed presidential campaign highlighted a ongoing debate in France over the country's role in the Holocaust and collaboration with the Vichy regime. A way out west there was a fella, fella I want to tell you about, fella by the name of Jeff Lebowski.
