JL;DR SUMMARY Rav Yaakov Gesundheit served as the last official chief rabbi of Warsaw during the late 19th century, amidst a contentious religious landscape marked by the rivalry between the city's Chassidic and Misnagdic communities. A way out west there was a fella, fella I want to tell you about, fella by the name of Jeff Lebowski.
