JL;DR SUMMARY The official Yiddish translation of the first Harry Potter book, "Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone," has been released nearly 23 years after the original publication, thanks to Indian-American Orthodox Jewish translator Arun Viswanath and Swedish publisher Nikolaj Olniansky.
