JL;DR SUMMARY Rahm Emanuel, the prominent Democratic politician with deep ties to the Jewish community and Israel, has recalibrated his stance on the U.S.-Israel relationship in light of shifting political dynamics and criticism over Israel's military actions in Gaza.
