JL;DR SUMMARY Congregation Beth Elohim in Brooklyn, led by Rabbi Rachel Timoner, surprised its 1,300 Rosh Hashanah congregants with Star of David necklaces, emphasizing Jewish visibility and pride during uncertain times marked by rising antisemitism and conflict in the Middle East.
