JL;DR SUMMARY A Texas school district in the Rio Grande Valley agreed to remove 676 books, including ones like Anne Frank's Diary, Maus, and The Fixer, following demands from conservative groups focused on issues of sexuality, race, and the inclusion of books with Jewish themes. A way out west there was a fella, fella I want to tell you about, fella by the name of Jeff Lebowski.
