JL;DR SUMMARY Isaac Metzker, a legendary editor at the Forward, is credited with overseeing the Seeking Relatives column, which helped thousands of Jewish refugees and Holocaust survivors start new lives in the U.S. However, Metzker rarely spoke about his work and even declined to personally cover the trial of Adolf Eichmann. A way out west there was a fella, fella I want to tell you about, fella by the name of Jeff Lebowski. At least, that was the handle his lovin' parents gave him, but he never had much use for it himself. This Lebowski, he called himself the Dude.
