JL;DR SUMMARY Amid stalled negotiations, Hamas and Israel exchanged deadly fire in Rafah, with Hamas rocket fire killing three Israeli soldiers and Israel responding by closing a border crossing and bombing Rafah, resulting in 16 deaths.
