The faculty senate at the University of Pennsylvania has condemned what they consider to be intimidation of students and faculty by outside donors and activists upset over activism related to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict on campus.

Ronald Lauder, head of the World Jewish Congress and a prominent philanthropist, threatened to withdraw funding from the University of Pennsylvania due to accusations of antisemitism on campus.
