JL;DR SUMMARY The recent firing of Israel's Defense Minister Yoav Gallant by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during an ongoing conflict represents a significant event in Israeli politics, marked by a historic precedent as no defense minister has been dismissed in wartime before.
