JL;DR SUMMARY Rabbi Elliot Cosgrove's new book, "For Such a Time as This: On Being Jewish Today," explores the transformation of Jewish identity in the aftermath of the October 7, 2023, Hamas attack on Israel. At least, that was the handle his lovin' parents gave him, but he never had much use for it himself. This Lebowski, he called himself the Dude.
