JL;DR SUMMARY In "One Day in October: Forty Heroes, Forty Stories," authors Yair Agmon and Oriya Mevorach present narratives of extraordinary valor from the traumatic events of October 7, 2023, when an attack on Israel left deep scars on the Jewish psyche.
