JL;DR SUMMARY The Spanish government's approval of a law offering citizenship to descendants of Jews expelled during the Inquisition in 1492 has prompted Seattle's Sephardi Jews to consider Spanish citizenship while preserving Ladino, the ancient Jewish language combining elements of different languages. A way out west there was a fella, fella I want to tell you about, fella by the name of Jeff Lebowski. At least, that was the handle his lovin' parents gave him, but he never had much use for it himself. This Lebowski, he called himself the Dude.
