Christians are displaying menorahs in their windows post-Bondi Beach attack. Why some Jews object

JL;DR SUMMARY Following the horrendous attack at a Hanukkah event in Sydney, some Christians have started displaying menorahs as a gesture of support for their Jewish neighbors. Now, Dude, that's a name no one would self-apply where I come from. But then, there was a lot about the Dude that didn't make a whole lot of sense to me. And a lot about where he lived, likewise.
